About our Salon and Day Spa.

Our salon is located in the heart of Oakhurst neighborhood community.  Our home is a thoroughly modern six room home adapted from the Attractive English Cottage Style of Architecture.   It has yellow siding with white trim.  In 2010, a new handicap accessible wheelchair ramp was added to the benefit of our clients.  Each spring we plant flowers on each windowsill and in our flower garden around Salon du Monde.  Watch out for our growing sunflowers on the far side of our long driveway from the back to the front of our building.  They will be in full bloom and reach about six feet tall by the end of August.  Inside there 5 styling stations and 3 washing sinks.  We have 2 pedicure stations and 1 manicure station.  Every ceiling is trimmed in dental molding with rope molding around various features.  Each room has hardwood flooring in the main parts of the house and checkerboard tiling everywhere else.  The massage room has a very calming island motif and relaxing atmosphere.  The house is very charming and relaxing.  Most people comment that it is a cute house and feels like home.  All our clients relax in this warm and friendly environment with creature comfort of coffee and tea services with snacks (something to nibble on). 

Barb Steffon (Owner, Master Hair stylist and Esthetician, Haircut, Styling, color/highlights, micordermabrasion, & facials, Chemical Peels, Waxing, Eyelash Extensions, tinting & dyeing,Brazilian Keratin treatment, Corrective color specialist)- I have been making people feel better about themselves through hair and skin care for 25 years.  I treat my clients as friends and family because they ARE friends and family to me.  When I decided to take on ownership of Salon du  Monde,  I envisioned it as a place where you could come to relax, feel at home and actually feel cared about.  I listen to your wants and needs and act accordingly to your lifestyle. We pride ourselves on customer service, and will go above and beyond to make your time with us a truly enjoyable experience.

Perry Harward (Nationally Certified Massage and Bodywork Therapist, (CNMT) Certified Neuromuscular Massage Therapist, NCLMBT #6710) -I have been working as a massage therapist for more than 4 years. During that time, I have taken over 140 hours of Continuing education in various types of massage and I have created a few modalities as well.  Experience and education go hand in hand in every service I do.  I look for solutions to make a difference peoples lives and their bodies.  I learn from my clients and help them to achieve their goals.  Most importantly, I listen.  What you want to achieve is my first priority. Brette Barber (Esthetician, Waxing Specialist, Nail Tech)   -- I began my journey in the beauty industry over 4 years ago and every moment has been an adventure.   I've been waxing for over 10 years and it is absolutely my favorite service to offer, especially bikinis and Brazilians.  You will find my services to be "results oriented" as well as super efficient.  I cherish my clients and find that they quickly become my friends as well.
